I am sitting here and realizing that in a few short hours I will be headed to Sri Lanka and India.  It is hard to imagine that soon I will be in a part of the world that I have only read stories about.

On Saturday, April 7, we will be hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt from 1:00 to 4:00.  This hunt is free for all community children from birth through the 6^th grade.  All Children must register by 2:00 and the egg hunt will begin at 2:30 with hunting taking place in 5 different groups based on age.

I just want to whine for a moment.  I know I shouldn't, that is not what a pastor should do, but being a Pastor is why I am whining.  You see, being a Pastor means I have to do things I do not want to do.

Join us on Sunday nights at 5:30 for something new.  Ok, so maybe it does not seem so new, for what we are doing is going back to a service that centers on singing the hymns out of hymnals.  For some of us, this brings back such fond memories of years gone by and the wonderful ways God worked in our lives.  These songs capture once again those feelings we had as we discovered the great God who calls us into relationship with Himself.

Along with the hymns we will have special music by people we do not get to hear from often, as well as testimonies from some we have known for a while and some we are just getting to know.  Pastor Mark will also be preaching/ teaching from 1^st Peter.
